How to modify a page

The site contains information in general about HTML but mostly, help for

Currently a lot of pages of OpenSP and Accessibility have missing samples or unclear description. You are welcome to contribute to improve the help of the errors or add new page for topic that interest you about HTML. For this, click on the EDIT tab on the top of each page.

For each of these errors, the structure of the page is the same:

  1. Title: There is the title on the top
  2. Cause: There is a cause that explain the reason of the error
  3. Example: Some samples but often a bad sample and a good one that show how to correct the error
  4. Solution: A short description of what to do to fix this error
  5. References: URL References to W3C specifications or other interesting links about the topic.

Here is an example structure:

<bad>A sample showing incorrect syntax</bad>
<good>A sample showing corrected syntax</good>

The pages are using a standard Wiki Syntax. For a quick help, look at:

And 2 tags: <good>, <bad> for showing the good and bad samples.

You can of course ask questions in the DISCUSSION Tab of error if the page is not clear.

Finally, here is the example of one OpenSP error :

OpenSP: unterminated comment: found end of entity inside comment

Check that you are using a proper syntax for you comments, e.g: <!-- comment here -->. This error may appear if you forget the last "--" to close one comment, therefore including the rest of the content in your comment.

Bad<!-- comment here >
Good<!-- comment here -->

Fix the broken comment.
