Part of the reason wiki spam works so well is that the spammed pages still exist in the history. So when Google indexes them, those links still work. It might be a good idea to delete the spammed entries from the history altogether. Tinalles 00:31, 6 December 2006 (CET)

Can you explain how to remove the entry from the history ? If there is a simple way. I would be very pleased to do it !!

I assumed it would be fairly easy to delete a specific revision of a page, but apparently I was wrong. Here's a page describing the process. Basically, you have to delete the whole page, and then restore everything except the deleted versions. -- Tinalles 22:33, 6 December 2006 (CET)
